Model-turned-actress Shiny Doshi has made her debut on small screen fiction drama with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Saraswatichandra where she is seen playing Kusum Sundari.
In the Star Plus’ drama, Shiny essays the younger sister to Kumud aka Jennifer Winget and she is all gaga over the show ever since she has cracked the audtions signing on the dotted lines. Shiny has number of TV commercials to her credit and she gained attention owing to the soap advertisement where she shared the space with Saif Ali Khan.
And now it is Kusum’s role that is helping her bag attention from every corner. Elated with the show and her role, the Ahmadabad beauty feels that she couldn’t have been luckier. She cherishes the fact of working as a parallel lead in the show with Jennifer Winget and Gautam Rode.
Speaking of her show, work atmosphere on sets and co-stars, Shiny said, "I am getting acquainted to the cameras and shoot surroundings. All my colleagues and costars have been extremely supportive and helpful as this is my first show." Talking of her costars Jennifer and Gautam, she added, "We all share a good tuning on the sets. Jennifer, in spite of being a big actress, does not show that or behave like that. Gautam also is too modest. Both of them are very grounded."
