Although the filmy career of sultry actress Mallika Sherawat is not shining bright these days, she is making pounds by doing Hollywood and Bollywood events and shows. Most of her previous releases, like Kismat Love Paisa Dilli, Double Dhamaal, Hisss, Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam bombed at box-office.
She is currently busy in shooting for KC Bokadia’s next Dirty Politics, a film based on the alleged murder of Bhanwari Devi by a politician from Rajasthan, in which Mallika will be paired opposite Om Puri. Now buzz has that she has been approached to host the desi version of American television show Bachelorette. For those unawares, The Bachelorette is a spin-off from the American competitive reality dating game show, The Bachelor. The series revolves around a single bachelorette (deemed eligible) and a pool of romantic interests, which could include a potential husband for the bachelorette.
According to source, the desi version will have 20 contestants vying for Mallika's attention and will try to impress her. A source associated with the show informs that Bachelorette will run for 25 episodes. The winner will get to go on a date with Mallika. Will it blossom into something serious, is still not known.
