Meiyang Chang, who forayed into the world of entertainment as a participant in Indian Idol 3, is gearing up for his solo album. Recently Chang was seen expressing his happiness over good friend Abhijeet Sawant launching his new album Farida.
Expressing his happiness for Abhijeet, Chang said,"It has been quite a while since I know about Abhijeet Sawant's album Farida. It feels really great to know about his achievement so far. He has always come up with amazing albums with different concepts. The best part about this album is that he has re-invented himself as a singer. We have seen him improving in singing every time he comes up with something. But this time it is just over the top, maybe you will come to know what I mean when you hear the album."
He added, "Abhijeet is an inspiration for many upcoming singers. I am really happy for him and his success. I am also coming up with an album soon. All the preparations are done and now it is just the time to hit the floors. It was good shooting for the album which is based on 'how life should be'. It will be a country pop album”.
It is to note that Chang even made his Bollywood debut with Badmaash Company where he was seen with Anushka Sharma and Shahid Kapoor.
