Sunny Goraya, who bagged the limelight through his meaty performance as Rishabh Kapoor, Ram Kapoor’s younger brother in Bade Ache Lagte Hain, has been approached by Ekta Kapoor to act in the promotional series Ek Thi Naayika of Life OK.
Buzz has that Sunny Goraya is going to be cast alongside popular actors like Aamna Sharif, Neha Kaul and Bhanu Uday. He will play role of Aamna’s brother-in-law in the episode, which will be a Lucknow based story. Shivani Chakravarty has also been roped in to join the star cast.
A little birdie said, “Sunny will essay the character of Shoaib, brother in law to the character played by Aamna Sharif and this Lucknow story revolves around a Muslim couple.” Sunny also confirmed buzz and said, “Currently I am shooting for Ek Thi Naayika but I can't reveal anything about the storyline as one has to watch it on Life OK.”
Ek Thi Naayika is a sixteen episode series which promotes Ekta Kapoor’s and Vishal Bharadwaj’s upcoming film Ek Thi Daayan. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Huma Qureshi, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Kalki Koechlin and is set to release on 18th April.
