Just a day before it was reported that the actors of Zee TV’s Hitler Didi helmed by Trilogy Media Pvt. Ltd are not happy with the channel and makers planning a sequential leap of almost 18 years on order to take the story forward.
The makers had even got in new characters in the form of Silky Khanna and Girish Jain to facilitate this jump in time. The CVs were even busy writing the logical track that would call for a leap. But as said, the actors had threatened to walk out of the daily in case of leap. No one was interested in playing elderly character and thus they thought of walking out.
Meanwhile, it has been learnt that the show has called off the leap as they can’t afford to lose the whole crew, which apparently would call for re-casting. On being contacted, Aasiya Kazi said, “Well, I was informed about a leap taking place sometime in May. But I do not know of the recent developments. I have not yet been told of the leap being cancelled.”
It is notable that the TRPs of the show are not good at present and there are chances of it being pulled off as well in case there is no leap taking place.
