While one has seen that Avika Gor's character of Roli is dead in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka, it is to hear that the actress will return to the show in a new avatar. She will enter the family drama as Jhumki, a Rajasthani girl who is Roli's look-alike.
As seen, Roli's death has traumatized the Bharadwaj family; however, they are now in store for another surprise wherein they will come across Jhumki, a rustic outspoken girl. In her new role, Avika will be seen wearing Rajasthani attire - ghaghra-choli, something that she used to wear for her role in Balika Vadhu.
Speaking of her new role, Avika said, "I have mixed feelings. While on one hand I feel sad about the end of Roli's character, which was loved by the audiences very much, on the other I, am excited to be seen in a new role. I think a new role always offers an actor something new to learn and experiment with".
"I also hope the new twist is loved by everyone," she added. Her new character will be seen from next week in the show.
