Mohit's character Kartik has been missing from the show for quite some time now but the creative team is now planning to highlight Karthik's story. Thus, they want him back on the show. However, Mohit is busy hosting India's Dancing Superstar and doing vital role in Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada. He is unable to give required dates to Bade Acche Lagte Hain.
According to source, soon there will a new entry witnessed by audience in form of newbie Chirag Thakkar, who has done show Ashiyaan on Doordarshan.
“I am really excited to be a part of BALH. Mohit has already established the character and has done a swell job. Stepping into someone's shoes is challenging. Initially, I wasn't too sure of replacing an actor, but I took it up as a challenge. Also, Balaji Telefilms is a renowned production house,” confirmed Chirag, who was also seen in an episode of Crime Patrol.
