Sources have confirmed that after lot of hunting, the makers have finally zeroed upon Gautami Kapoor, wife of actor Ram Kapoor, to replace Ankita Lokhande in Pavitra Rishta. Now on, it will be Gautami who’ll be seen playing Archana in the show.
It has been learnt that the actress, who in the past had stepped in Smriti Irani's shoes to play the character of Tulsi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, will begin shooting for the show soon. So far Archana was seen in comma but with Gautami stepping in, Archana will be shown coming out of coma and the storyline will focus on Archana and Manav's (Hiten Tejwani) love story. Hiten said, "Yes, she is doing the show but I can't comment on anything else."
Wonder of the viewers will accept this big change!
