Everyone had expected Tanushree to draw a big platform for launching the younger one, however, contrary to all thoughts; she let Ishita pave her own path. Ishita, who plays the role of a small town girl Pooja in the daily soap, says that Tanushree was always there for guidance but didn't spoon-feed her.
"My sister always says that people should give you work because of your ability and not for anything else. She made her career on her and she wanted the same for me. I am lucky that she has always been there for guidance but while doing all this, she didn't spoon-feed me. When I started off my career I did each and everything on my own. Whether it was finding numbers or going for auditions it was done all alone without anyone's help. Tanushree has always taught me to be happy in whatever situation I am in so whatever I am today is because of her guidance. Now, I have the strength to go forward and achieve things and so I am not dependent on anybody," said Ishita.
She is even elated with the fact that the Entertainment industry is seeing a change in trend and admits that the thin line between films and television industry is diminishing. She stated, "TV gives people a chance to establish as an actor. I think whoever has done TV has gone up and I am happy that the trend is changing. It doesn't matter anymore that if you are doing TV you can't do films. In fact a good role on TV can fetch an important role in a Bollywood film. It happened in Hollywood and now it's happening here."
"I have never planned in life. For me the medium is not important what matters is the role. I am open to doing south movies, serials as long as the role is nice. I don't look at Ek Ghar Banaunga as a serial; I look at it from the character point of view and focus on good things like working on a prime channel like Star Plus and with a producer like Raakesh Paswan. My sister always says that you get one chance in life and you should make the maximum out it," added Ishita.
Keep up the good work Ishita!
