The show revolved around remarriage of Yash and Aarti and how they start off a new life while adjusting with the needs and demands of a Punar Vivah. The show made a great impression on the viewers and the unique storyline up was much appreciated. This is why makers are keen to turn Punar Vivah a brand and bring in shows with some strong messages.
The initiative has begun with Punar Vivah 2 for which the season one lead pair, Kratika Sengar and Gurmeet Choudhary shot for a promo. Gurmeet has even shared his good wishes for the show.
He said, "It was an interesting shoot because it was the first time I shot as Gurmeet, so enjoyed it a lot. I would like to say best of luck to 'PV 2' ('Punar Vivah 2'). I don't know about the future, but I feel that till the time I am working here, I work hard and with heart”. In the second season, there will be a completely different story and cast.
So far it has been learnt that Karan V Grover, Aamna Shariff and Ashima Bhalla will play the lead in the next season.
