Much has been said and written about Balaji Telefilm’s production popular show Pavitra Rishta. The show is in headlines since its lead actress Ankita Lokhande quit the show, and the hunt of her replacement went on.
It was already reported that actress who will replace Ankita happens to be a familiar face to television buffs and the strong contenders coming for the role are Balaji’s loyalists Shilpa Saklani and Gautami Kapoor. Media report said they have been approached to replace Ankita but the latest buzz suggests that beautiful and charming Prachi Shah of Kyunki Saas Bhi Bahu Thi fame is also one of the strongest contenders in the race.
According to sources, it is also informed that some of the big and small names of Hindi and Marathi TV industry have auditioned to play the role of Archana in the popular daily. But if everything falls into place then one amongst Prachi Shah, Gautami Kapoor and Shilpa Saklani will play Archana in Pavitra Rishta. When sources got in touch with Prachi Shah, she confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I have been approached for the role but I have no clarity on this.”
