Apparently, for someone like Karan and Ragini, who have proved their dancing metal in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, this was no less than a crude shock. Sources say that both Ragini and Karan along with telly couple Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh, were to perform after the event, which was to be included in the TV package to be aired later.
But around 3 am, when the two were all dressed up for the shoot, they were asked that their performance was scrapped due to time constraint. Eventually, it was only Aamir's and Sanjeeda's performance that took place. A source said, "It was unprofessional to ask the actors to leave after they had invested their time and effort rehearsing for the performance. They haven't even been paid yet."
Meanwhile, Ragini stated, "Karan and I were to perform to a song from Aashiqui 2. When the organizers informed that our performance has been scrapped, we didn't know how to react. We didn't want to make a noise about it; that would have been immature. I am sure they had their reasons to cancel the performance."
It was indeed wrong!
