Promotions of upcoming films on daily soap have no become a sort of compulsion for all. A promotion campaign for any film stands incomplete unless it spreads a word or two about the venture in the daily soaps.
And taking the trend ahead, now we will have actors John Abraham and Tusshar Kapoor joining Ram Kapoor on the sets of popular TV show Bade Acche Lagte Hain, to promote their forthcoming movie Shootout at Wadala, which is again an Ekta Kapoor production.
However, this promotional visit will be quite a different one as here one will get to see Ram, Tusshar and John walking down a fashion runway in a special episode to be aired on Sony May 2. As known, Ram Kapoor plays a business tycoon bearing the same name in the show and this fashion event is going to be a part of his business deal.
It has been learnt that Ekta, producer of the show and co-producer of Shootout At Wadala, was the person behind the scene. Movie promotion on Bade Acche Lagte Hain has become a formula of sorts for Ekta, who has been utilizing the show time for plugging her movies. During The Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan had made an appearance on the show and she even shook a leg with Sakshi Tanwar aka Priya.
Later one saw Riteish Deshmukh and Tusshar giving Samir Kochhar's character Rajat some love tips while promoting their Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum. Meanwhile, Shootout at Wadala is directed by Sanjay Gupta and also stars Anil Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Manoj Bajpayee, Kangana Ranaut and Mahesh Manjrekar. It is to release on May 3!
