He even had his brush with big screen as one saw him in films like Fun2sshh and Bullet Ek Dhamaka. However, the run in Bollywood couldn’t run for long and he shifted his focus back to small screen. but it’s quite a while that we have seen him in any of the shows.
Revealing about his plans, he shared, "Well, currently I am not doing anything on television nor anything in films. I have not got anything so far which would interest me. If I get something really interesting my way I will surely be happy to grab it."
Meanwhile, he is enjoying the free time and is having a gala time with family. Iqbal said, "I am a very homely guy right now and I like being around my daughter. I am giving her the required time and enjoying all the time I spend with her." for those unaware, Iqbal was offered the role of Maharana Uday Singh from Sony TV’s costume drama, Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap, prior to Shakti Anand getting signed for the same. o being quizzed as to why he didn’t take up the role, Iqbal revealed, "Well, because it was never offered to me. I had visited the Sony Office and that is when we were talking about this show but nothing was concrete as such."
Talking of reality shows, he says, "No not really. In fact, if I am offered any reality show I would not take it up as I don't like the reality show concepts."
