It has been learnt that Abir, who died of cardiac arrest on May 31, 2013, was playing the role of Kailash in Rajshri's Pyaar Ka Dard Hai on Star Plus. His departure to the heavenly abode created a void in the show, which as heard will now be filled by Vimarsh Roshan of Bidaai fame. Sources say that Vimarsh, who has acted in JP Dutta's Bollywood film Umrao Jaan and TV serial Bidaai will from now on play the role of Kailash. The actor started shooting from June 3, 2013 and his entry will be telecast soon.
On being contacted, Vimarsh confirmed the news, "Yes, it's true that I will be playing the role of Kailash in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai. I've heard a lot of good things about the production house and I am happy to be working with them."
