Undoubtedly, the drama quotient on Colors’ popular show Beintehaa is keeping the audience hooked to it. And now to raise the temperature up, the creative team has decided to introduce a new character with a completely new track.
Popular telly actress, Dimple Jhangiani, who was last seen in Life OK’s Amrit Manthan, will enter the show as Barkhat, daughter of Osman (Naved Aslam) and Suraiyya (Suchitra Pillai) and younger sister of Zain (Harshad Arora). The family will be elated to get their daughter back and will shower all their love and care on her. Zain will also share a great time with her.
But, this is not the complete story. It will take a u-turn when family members have to bear the weird behavior of Barkhat. “The girl would have been brought up in a basti and for her, Meer Khan (Suneel Sinha) would be her world. She would consider him as her father, and when she will get to know of her real identity she will be shocked. Initially, she would be reluctant to even accompany Osman and Suraiyya to their house. But with Meer Khan accepting his crime, Barkat will proceed with her parents,” informed sources.
Dimple, who might shift to have a grey shade, as the story progresses said about her character, “It’s been a great feeling to get into the team of Colors with Beintehaa. On the first day itself, I got to be decked as a bride with heavy jewelry and attire. This is a challenging role for me, as I need to essay a Muslim character. I am presently working on my dialect to get it perfectly right.”
Would Barkhat be able to adjust to the new lifestyle? Let’s wait and watch.
