Drashti Dhami aka ‘Madhubala’ has once again outshone her s****s on
screen. No, we aren’t talking about her histrionics, while playing that
demure, love sick wife in ‘Madhubala’ for RK, we are talking about her
performances and popularity on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, which has won her
the glittering trophy and a cash prize of rupees fifty lakh, along with
her partner choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan tonight!

The dance reality, which spanned for fifteen weeks, entertaining masses with every enthralling dance performances, finally came to its bidding note tonight. To mark the grand finale were present, the esteemed celebrity judges Karan Johar, Remo Fernandes and Madhuri Dixit, while Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra also came in to shake a leg and promote their upcoming movie ‘Krrish 3’, which is slated for November release.
The show began amidst fans cheering, judges applauding and of course, the past contestants and winners making a bee line come back on stage with some sensational performances. Yes, ex Jhalak Dikhla Jaa winners Gurmeet Choudhary and Rashmi Desai created a huge uproar with their phenomenal performances, while Karan Wahi, last year’s host made his comic timing and presence felt with a foot tapping number.
The mood and theme was that of jubilance and celebration today. Even the anchors Kapil Sharma and Manish Paul were at their humorous best, pulling of stint of graduation ceremony and reigniting some fond memories of the show from the past.
The show marked its grand entry with the Fnal Four, namely Drashti, Shaan, Sonali and Lauren’s scintillating performances. While Drashti’s ‘Rangeela number went down well, Lauren looked a little slow. However, the punch factor was that by Shaan and Sonali, which made Hrithik Roshan come onto the stage and honor them both individually. Shaan did the mountain climbing part quite well in dance, while Sonali sizzled and sparked with her fast salsa number, which looked like a t****ze performance, but on ground.
I’m sure the audience can’t wait to see the next season starting, but as for now let’s rejoice and celebrate the success of the completion of the show and of course, the prime time actress’s, our very own Madhubala’s success with dance. From a non-dancer, what she claimed to be, she indeed has come a long way, and flown with flying colors. If not anybody else, I’m sure her RK would be happy to have her wife achieve something big in life, after him, of course!

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is an Indian version of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and ABC's Dancing with the Stars.

Concept
Sony Entertainment Television brings "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" with new celebrities and well known faces to perform with professional dance partners on a highly competitive stage. The show is produced by BBC Worldwide Productions in India.
The show's format is taken from the Strictly Come Dancing show on BBC One in UK, which has been a huge success in over 30 countries like America, Australia, New Zealand, and Italy where it is known as Dancing with the Stars. However the Indian version has been extensively remodelled as to appeal to the country's viewers.
The dances are typically more exuberant than on its sister programmes around the world, owing to India's unique Bollywood traditions. Also because of the strong Bollywood approach, India is the only country to not have live music with an in-house Big Band. The show is also pre-recorded unlike the UK's Strictly Come Dancing and other spin-offs. All the ballroom and latin dances are danced as bollywood themed showdances (US: freestyles) rather than with strict 'syllabus' ballroom or latin technique.
