After playing the perfect host for five seasons of India’s most popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, the man who runs the shows with ease and affection, Amitabh Bachchan is now ready to kick start the seventh season of it.
The 70-year-old has hosted five seasons of the show, except for the third edition, which was hosted by superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Amitabh is currently shooting for the promos and says it was quite weary to shoot the promo, but he has completed enthusiastically now. “I have to start shooting for the promos of the next season of KBC!!! Gosh! But it just got over... ah well, life moves fast and furious," Amitabh posted on his Twitter page.
KBC is an Indian reality game show based on the UK game show- Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? The show, first aired in 2000, was hosted by Bachchan, who also made his maiden appearance on small screen. Big B also hosted the second season of the show, which became a rage. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was roped in for the third edition. But Big B returned to anchor the show with its fourth season and has been doing so till its sixth season, which ended in January this year.
The quiz show is aired on Sony Entertainment Television channel.
