It was reported sometime back that SAB TV's Baal Veer is undergoing certain changes as far as the casting is concerned. It was reported that makers were hunting for an actress to play the antagonist in the show.
They needed someone to replace Shama Sikander aka Bhayankar Pari as Shama had decided to quit the children's show. And now it is to hear that they have finalized actress Deepshikha Nagpal, who was last seen in Star Plus’ Nach Baliye 5 and Sony TV’s Hongey Judaa Na Hum.
While some say that Deepshikha is going to play a new character, sources from the show insist that she is Shama's replacement. Producer Vipul D Shah confirmed the same and said, "Deepshikha has great comic timing and can also perform serious scenes. This was required for the role of Bavandar Pari — someone who is evil yet entertaining and furious yet funny”.
