Prince Gupta, who introduced a unique style of popping and locking in Dance India Dance reality show of Zee TV, says he wants to be a choreographer and is looking forward to do other reality shows on TV but not as a contestant.
During an interview, Prince got candid about his film debut, dream project and Dance India Dance. First, he spoke about Prabhu Deva's Anybody Can Dance (ABCD), which turned him an actor. He said, “I'm happy with the success. We were all known as television show dancers earlier (his co-stars in the movie who were also contestants on Dance India Dance). Now we're also known as actors. It was Remo D'Souza sir's vision that translated the movie into a hit.”
Prince is one member who has been associated with DID since the beginning, and he says, “When people did not even know about DID, I have been a part of the show since then. It is a brand in itself. In the new season, we're going to show women who were probably married early or who have been wanting to dance but couldn't because they got married. We will be giving them a platform to showcase their talent.”
Prince wants to reiterates as a choreographer after he made his Bollywood debut, “I want to be a choreographer. I would look forward to do other reality shows on TV but not as a contestant. Mujhe contestant banke jitna karna tha maine kar liya. Ab mujhe apne balbute par kuch karna hai,” he said.
Good luck Prince!
