Though Toral Rasputra is talented but she is facing a tough time playing the new Anandi in Colors’ Balika Vadhu. Viewers are still trying hard to accept Toral, who stepped into the shoes of Pratyusha Banerjee.
Toral too admits the same but even adds that no one is indispensable in TV Industry and she is confident that viewers will slowly and steadily accept her as Anandi. She said, “I know people's expectations are high, it's a very popular character so replacing Pratyusha and bringing in good numbers instantly is not possible. Also, Balika Vadhu has witnessed replacements in the past and it is not happening for the first time. Even the very popular Avika Gor was replaced by Pratyusha and Shashank Vyas replaced Avinash Mukhejee but audiences' gave equal amount of love and support to all the new actors who stepped in. So no one is indispensable in TV Industry viewers just need some time to accept the change”.
On being quizzed about the dipping numbers, the actress shared, "I am not someone who keeps a track of TRPs, my job is to give my 100 percent and work hard. I am happy that the TRPs didn't drop initially in fact it went up. I think viewers will take time and it is something that will not happen overnight. We all are working equally hard, the storyline is still strong and I am confident that the audiences will accept me slowly and steadily."
She is surely working hard and we hope Toral wins the acceptance!
