Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is soon to team up with popular TV star Aamna Shariff in the show Ek Thi Naayika aired on Life OK.
For those unaware, Ek Thi Naayika is a promotional eight-episode TV show to promote Vishal Bhardwaj and Ekta Kapoor's forthcoming co-production venture Ek Thi Daayan, releasing on April 18. The film stars Huma Qureshi, Kalki Koechlin, Konkana Sen Sharma and Emraan Hashmi. It marks the directorial debut of Kannan Iyer.
Coming to Ek Thi Naayika, Huma is to make a cameo in the episode that will be aired in two parts on Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and 7. The coming episode is based in Lucknow and depicts Aamna as Raziya and Bhanu Uday playing her husband Mohsin. Huma will play Raziya's friend, who will help her find out about daayan.
As reported earlier too Ekta and Bhardwaj will also be seen doing cameos in Ek Thi Naayika. Earlier actress Konkana Sen Sharma was seen making an appearance in one of the episodes featuring Mouli Ganguly. Emraan and Kalki too will be making their presence felt in the in the forthcoming episodes.
The TV series went on air March 9, and it has Smriti Irani, Sakshi Tanwar, Aamna Shariff, Shweta Tiwari, Ankita Lokhande, Kritika Kamra and Pooja Gor playing lead roles.
