The film starring Veena Malik as a sex worker along with Riya Sen and Rajan Verma has Supriya playing a housewife. She is paired opposite Rajan Verma and speaking of the film and her co-actors, she said, “Yes, all three of us play the leads in the films as the story is based on the lives of these women from different walks of life.”
“I am really very excited about the release of my movie (24 May 2013) after all it’s my first stint in 70mm,” she added. On being quizzed, if the film’s promotion so far has made her happy and content, Supriya stated, “I am very happy; I like everything from the posters to the promos. My phone hasn’t stopped ringing for a while. Friends have just been calling to congratulate me.”
When asked if she will get back to doing TV shows, she shared, “I have never said that I was quitting TV. I am very much a part of the television industry. I am just waiting for the right offers here. I have two more projects. They will most probably go on-floor by end of this year, if everything falls in place.”
