The show will boast of a new plot and completely new set up. It is expected to launch on May 20, 2013 and the promos of the same are currently on air. It has already been reported that Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli fame Karan V Grover is to play the male lead in Punar Vivah 2. Now sources say that the new season will have two female leads one of which will be played by the beautiful Aamna Shariff. As for the second female lead, buzz states that Shrishty Rode, who was last seen in Zee TV’s Chhoti Bahu, has been finalized.
For the unawares, Shrishty first grabbed the attention playing the vivacious and bubbly Manjari in Star One’s Yeh Ishq Haaye. Her role in the new season of Punar Vivah has been so far kept under wraps. And it will only be brought into light once the official confirmation is made and the shot starts its shooting. Titled as Punar Vivah… Ek Nayi Umeed, this new chapter of story focusing on remarriage will be produced by Shashi-Sumeet Productions Pvt. Ltd.
