Housewife Hai was launched on December 2012, with full pomp and galore and with popular star cast in form of Suhasi Dhami, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli fame, however it’s still dealing with failure.
Now in an attempt to gain eyeballs, the makers have decided to give it a new shot. It is reported that apart from the lead couple, only actress Himani Shivpuri, who plays Aniruddh's mother, will be retained from the original cast. “The new track will focus on the lead couple, Himani and the new family. Aniruddh's character Kanhaiya will discover that he has a new family in a village,” informs source.
An actor from the show said, “It's a revamp, more or less like season two of the show. Rest of the Chaturvedi family members will bid adieu to the show. “
