Generally evil characters tend to bag hatred from people, however, with Abhaas aka Shyam; the case was very different. He played his part so well, that viewers just loved to hate him and noting that his character is the major hurdle for Arnav (Barun Sobti) and Khushi (Sanaya Irani), they never wanted his character to be erased.
Nevertheless, he did make an exit and later we got to see him as Agastya in Zee TV’s Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan, which was hyped a lot. Sadly neither the show succeeded in meeting up all the expectations nor did Abhaas’ part saw any development. Recent buzz now states that he has walked out of the daily owing to dissatisfaction from the role.
Sources say that he put in his papers around end of April, and is currently serving his notice period. Speaking on the same lines, he said, "It's a character-based show and every character is pivotal. But mine failed to develop and I didn't get what I was promised. I had a word with the production house and they requested me to stay, so I did stay back. But nothing substantial happened and I finally decided to quit."
Well, we hope that he soon comes across some meaty roles!
