Right from day one it has garnered low numbers. At first makers blamed it upon the then IPL, however, now as the IPL is over, story is still the same. Owing to the poor performance, Sony had brought it under scanner and was all scheduled to go off air in June but now the fans can see the show for two more months.
As per a source, "Shashi Sumeet Mittal Production's Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat which was supposed to go off-air in June has got an extension till August end this year and there will be lots of changes in the story line with respect to the TRP's."
However, soon after that in August end, Khoobsurat will go off-air, and Optimystix's Saas Bina Sasural 2 will replace it. Source added, “Aishwarya Sakhuja will be again seen as the female protagonist in Saas Bina Sasural 2 and also the show has bagged the 7.30 pm slot."
Aishwarya Sakhuja said, "I cannot comment on anything as of now, as I haven't signed anything till date."
