The Season 3 of Gumrah, produced by A Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms will launch on 7 July 2013 at the 7 pm slot on Sunday. The show made into headlines for its interesting casting, with sources talking about Anita Hassanandani being approached to appear in the very first episode. But it has been heard that talented actress Mouli Ganguly has replaced Anita, as the latter's dates with her ongoing SAB TV show Gutur Gu could not be adjusted.
Sources say that the very first story of the juvenile crime based show is to revolve around an older woman and a young boy. On being contacted, Mouli confirmed the news stating, "Yes, I will be seen in the first episode of Gumrah. But I am yet to meet the concerned people and start shoot."
