A lot of talented actors from television have already been roped to play important roles in the new story. Names like Piyush Sahdev as Ram, Sangeeta Kapur as Manthra, Mihir Mishra as Dashrath, Samiksha Bhatnagar as Mandadari are already set to be a part of the Ramayan chunk in Mahadev.
Now, latest is that Gauri Harmit Kaur, who is well-known for portraying mythological characters and had been part of mythological serials like Meera and Dwarkadheesh - Bhagwaan Shree Krishna, along with TV actress Anushkaa Singh has been approached to play Kaushalya’s role in Mahadev.
Both the actresses are equally appropriate for the role and makers are yet to finalize who is most suitable for the role of Kaushalya, mother of Lord Ram. Hence, whichever lady get this role will be seen as mother of Piyush Sahdev, who is paying Ram.
Apart from this, the show will also see talented actor B Shantanu playing Vishwamitra in the Ramayan track.
For now it’s time to wait and see who the creatives pick up to play the role.
