Television’s young heartthrob Rithwik Dhanjani is enjoying his new profession, anchoring, which he is doing for reality show India’s Best Dramebaaz on Zee TV. He is hosting the show pretty well along with beautiful actress Ragini Khanna, the Sasural Genda Phool fame.
Rithwik, also seen in popular daily soap Pavitra Rishta says hosting provides a good break from his daily soap, which is high on emotion. “It is like a break from my fiction show, which requires heavy emotions and you need to cry a lot. So, the day when I shoot for Dramebaaz, comes as a stress-buster. I love kids, so I play with them and have fun," said Rithwik, who has participated in dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 6. He is getting more popular through his presence in reality show, especially getting rave reviews for his funny hosting stints in Dramebaaz.
He plays Arjun in Pavitra Rishta, which has undergone various transformations in past episodes. When asked to divulge about the daily soap role, he said, “With time, Arjun has grown from what he was when he started. He is not the same person. You need to show the change.
Sometimes actors get stuck in one image. You have to show a change in your character as well. The character has to grow on screen as well. Indian TV format does get boring, not only for the actor, but for the audience too. The only way to keep it interesting is to go on innovating and experimenting with it”.
